The German glass packaging market

Increased production, improved sales, regular stocks and pressure on margins is how EUWID respondents summarise the market for glass packaging in 2011. Although some market participants tend to be sceptical of planned or new capacities, the situation on the market has stabilised over the past few years including 2011, explained an entrepreneur. On the whole the market has been adjusted to the new conditions. The dramatic times when markets were lost and players failed to attune the capacities to reflect the different setup are over.
