The German plastic packaging market

Suppliers of plastic packaging currently have no problems in procuring the necessary raw materials. On the contrary, there even is talk of excess supply for some plastics. Delivery times are also rather short. For some weeks incoming orders have been “very sluggish” and could be “a lot better”, EUWID respondents characterised the situation in the market for films and pouches. The delivery periods have shortened to two to four weeks - rarer six weeks are mentioned.
