The Polish containerboard market

Demand bounced back strongly on Poland’s recycled corrugated case material market between October and November, manufacturers told EUWID. Market players said that supply and demand were balanced.
Availability had improved compared with the first half of 2010, with lead times having shortened to just a week in some instances, insiders added. Nonetheless, paper producers’ inventories were on the low side.
Sources reported that while containerboard at great speed had become more expensive in September, occasionally these corrections had to have been partly withdrawn since.
