Stable or falling collection volumes combined with strong demand domestically and abroad pushed prices higher on the British recovered paper market in June. Mixed paper is especially sought-after for export to Asia. Market players’ comments about collection volumes range from „unchanged” to „much tighter and too low for June.” Mixed paper (1.02) is now enjoying a real boom in demand in China due to Christmas business now being under way after only small amounts of this grade was exported during the last few
months.
