GC board prices are expected to stay unchanged until the year’s end, despite Stora Enso and Metsä Board announcing plans to charge European customers more from 1 November or 1 December. “There are a few problems with the price increase,” one insider said in summary. These included the fact that the two Scandinavian companies were the only ones to announce higher prices. The Polish market leader had iinformed its domestic customers alone of plans to raise its price in zloty by 5-7%.
