The first signs of a recovery after a slow summer have emerged on Britain’s cartonboard market in September. A few folding box producers reported having fuller order books again. Christmas business has begun, but substantial fluctuations like the ones seen five years ago seem to be a thing of the past. One insider noted that some orders had been reassigned, boosting business substantially for
a few suppliers. All in all, however, volumes did not increase.
