GD manufacturers are currently eyeing hikes of up to £45/t in the UK too. Converters interviewed by EUWID feel that there is no reason to raise prices this much and that there is no room for increases of any kind. However, it is evident that these announcements have
stopped the downward spiral in both GD and GC board prices for now. Insiders said that lead times were mixed, especially for GD board. A few manufacturers were still able to deliver within three to six weeks, while many others are reporting customers having to wait much longer for their board to be ready.
