In December, talks started in France to determine cartonboard prices that were to expire at the end of 2014. The negotiations had started a bit late because some customers had not been in a hurry to reach agreement on new prices, said market players. By mid-December it was still unclear what prices for GD and GC would result.
For recycled board there have reportedly beenagreements signed that leave prices unchanged until the end of March. Apart from that, there are varying comments on the pricing outlook.
