Many market participants were on holiday at the end of the month. Although the volumes sold were once again below the prior-year levels in August, some market experts still see an improvement, especially versus July.
On the GC board market, one producer surprised British customers with an announcement that all its board grades would cost more, effective with deliveries from 1 October.
