The price trend is pointing upwards on the market for packaging paper and board.
Given the good demand and rising recovered paper costs, prices for corrugated case material in the UK increased in February. Further mark-ups are expected in March. The cost of GD board is also likely to rise as of March or April. There continues to be good demand, especially on the export market, for ordinary recovered paper grades. In combination with declining collection volumes, this led to higher prices in February.
