The recent renewed jump in recovered paper prices has prompted several GD cartonboard manufacturers to take the initiative and announce higher prices.
A few cartonboard producers told their customers in July that they would have to pay more for GD cartonboard from August or September onwards.
They were varyingly seeking to tack on €35 to up to €55/t, with the timing also differing significantly.
