Following repeated price increases over the past 15 months, quotes for brown recycled corrugated case material have stabilised since the last hike in February.
Now and again, buyers attempt to achieve price reductions by arguing that recovered paper has become cheaper, but it appears they have not had any significant success so far.
Paper producers say they are still in a position to resist such requests because of the strong demand in the market and their good capacity utilisation.
At the same time, though, paper makers do not have any plans for further hikes.
