Prices continue to fall on the French recovered paper market.
In October, this is mainly true for the ordinary grades. Following September’s markdowns, prices in October declined again by as much as €10/t for mixed paper and board (1.02), supermarket paper and board (1.04) and old corrugated containers (1.05), buyers and sellers agreed.
Most market participants said that the overall reduction since the summer amounted to as much as €15/t. For now, though, prices are still higher than they were before the increases in June.
