The announcement by one major producer of price hikes for GD and grey board for deliveries from 21 November has now been followed by similar moves by other paper makers.
At the end of September, that first producer sent out a notice to customers that it planned to raise prices for GD board by €60/t and for grey board by €30/t in light of considerable cost increases.
So far, no contracts have been signed. Producers expect deals will not be finalised for another week or two.
