The state of affairs on Germany’s coreboard market had not altered much by the end of the second quarter compared with months past.
Orders had to be assigned well in advance. Even with two months’ lead time, there were no guarantees that coreboard would be delivered.
Stoppages are still occurring, not only because of coreboard deliveries, but also because of massive cargo issues, converters said in unison. A few market players expect the latter situation to deteriorate in the weeks ahead and affect the core industry in particular.
