Most manufacturers of label paper are satisfied with business in Germany in the third quarter.
“Order inflow was still very good”, a producer said. Label paper manufacturers explained that business for the beverage industry was lucrative over summer.
Demand did not ease until into September. First indications of a cyclically weaker fourth quarter are usually seen in the middle of September but this year order inflow began to weaken only in the first days of October, the producer explained.
Prices have not changed due to the large number of annual contracts.
