Driven by further increasing raw-material procurement, production, and logistics costs, suppliers of euro and chemical pallets raised their prices again at the start of this year.
Establishing higher prices continues to be assisted by manufacturers’ very good levels of capacity utilisation. Some manufacturers’ order backlogs are already good for two to three weeks.
Demand for pallets remains undiminished and high. Even customers with current contracts are repeatedly requesting supplementary volumes.
