The corrugated board industry is now more intensely feeling the effects of the coronavirus crisis.
After deliveries surged at the beginning of the pandemic, by June at the latest, there were declines of between 3-4 per cent (adjusted for the number of working days), which is unusually steep for this industry. For the second quarter as a whole, the industry’s deliveries decreased by "just” slightly more than 1 per cent, according to company sources. However, the figures can vary greatly from company to company.
