Supply of polyamide for packaging applications (PA 6) was described as abundant at the beginning of February.
Converters could easily attain all the necessary volumes. Suppliers were satisfied with order levels and plants were boasting the corresponding operating rates.
Prices once again yielded considerably in December and January. Negotiations for February had not yet been concluded as this report was drafted in early February. Respondents were not expecting any major changes.
