Amid reduced collection volumes, prices for recovered paper rose on the German market in June.
Especially in the case of mixed paper, collection volumes have already clearly dipped more than what is usual for this time of the year, according to one EUWID source.
In contrast, the availability of supermarket paper and board has seen almost no downward movement. Business was said to be ticking along calmly.
Supply to some paper mills was nevertheless reported to be inadequate, with the affected mills reportedly trying to secure volumes by offering higher prices.
