Low volumes and cool demand for ordinary recovered paper grades in Great Britain

As expected, recovered paper collection volumes have decreased in the UK in July, sometimes even very sharply. Nevertheless, supply is not limited. Mixed paper, in particular, is abundantly available, “at least poor-quality material,” one insider noted. The availability of deinking grades and tissue grades was considered adequate, too, with recovered paper for tissue production tending to show the greatest signs of scarcity.
