Germany’s kraftliner prices continued to show a lateral movement in early December.
In the first few days of December, none of the sources contacted by EUWID anticipated any change before the year’s end – either in the form of Christmas discounts or alterations to existing prices. Converters were repeatedly reporting attempts, albeit unsuccessful ones, to lower prices.
The trend in recycled corrugated case material prices, which had pointed lower in a rather unexpected development in November, was not having any impact on kraftliner prices, either.
