Business activity on the central European markets for flat wooden pallets has not picked up until early June and correspondingly remains at a below-average level for the time of year.
Despite reduced production for months now, market players continue to report a greater supply of standard pallets than demand. As even major quantities of standard pallets can be obtained at short notice, users are withholding from building up reserves and are only placing their orders at short notice. The recently regressive pallet prices are slowing purchasing all the more.
