In the first six months of this year the Polish glass packaging industry has returned to growth after having suffered a weak year in 2009. Manufacturers of container glass report an extremely high demand for their products during the last few months, which is put down to the general economic upturn. Along with this positive trend glassworks also observed, however, negative developments within the industry like for example cullet shortage. This was just one of the topics covered during a seminar in June about developments within the Polish glass packaging industry.
