A few sources told EUWID that they could see “light at the end of the tunnel” on the British corrugated board and corrugated board product market towards the middle of May. Others qualified such statements by saying that it was, at best, a candle burning at the end of a mile-long tunnel. At least the situation had not become any worse, though, although an improvement was not on the horizon, either. Moreover, inventories continued to recede, although they remained high....
