Prices continue to point lower on France’s recycled corrugated case material market in June. The current market conditions are putting continued pressure on prices and paving the way for price cuts of €25 or even more in a few instances during the course of the month.
Surplus output was often identified as the main reason for this price trend. European recycled corrugated case material capacity exceeds consumption, all the more so since Saica’s new capacity in the UK came on stream a few months ago.
