Brown kraftliner prices currently tend to be going downwards rather than upwards. Limited consumption and ample supply on the French market and elsewhere led prices to crumble. Prices had dropped by a total of €20-30/t since the summer when they edged slightly higher, market players noted. Prices would be lower than before the summer break from 1 November at the latest. More 175g+ kraftliner was now being sold at prices below €600/t.
