The French recycled corrugated case material market saw prices stage a turnaround in March in a trend that had looked to be on the cards in February. Converters failed to pass on the latest mark-up in the fourth quarter of 2013 to their customers and thus pushed for these increases to be revoked. Prices had jumped by around €20/t, and customers were seeking to have the entire amount cancelled out. Most producers made a concession of around €10/t in March.
