Label paper producers experienced a turbulent first half-year in Gemany.
After very brisk demand in the first quarter, the situation remained "completely overheated” in the second quarter as well. Prices continued to rise across all grades, although the majority of mark-ups had already occurred in the first quarter. During the second quarter, prices rose on average by another €100/t, EUWID's market survey found.
With the beginning of the second half-year, however, the demand boom has cooled off somewhat, depending on producer and grade.
