There has hardly been any price movement so far in the fourth quarter on the Polish recovered paper market. The most recent mark-ups for supermarket paper and board in Germany did not have any effect on November’s quotes in Poland. The market was largely balanced and there was enough material available for everyone, EUWID was told. The good availability was unaffected by the move by Polish converters to suspend imports from Germany owing to the increased prices there. In isolated cases, smaller local paper producers had taken advantage of the good supply situation and had even achieved lower prices for supermarket paper and board in November.
