The German commodity plastics market:
Some prices stabilised in the course of April

Even if the Easter holidays did impact on business, April was on the whole a good month for suppliers of standard commodity plastics.

Supply was low for some LLDPE grades. In addition, there were shortages of PP, especially for copolymers. PE prices have largely remained steady in April compared to the previous month.

PP recorded higher mark-ups at the beginning of the month and following the extreme hikes for PS there was a sharp drop in April.
