The British paper and board market:
Recovered paper prices head higher again

14 Jan 2021 −

Good demand on the domestic and export markets had driven prices for a number of ordinary recovered paper grades even higher in the UK in December.

Producers of corrugated case material were also targeting price increases and were negotiating with buyers as EUWID researched the market in mid-December. The end of the second lockdown had brought about a rebound in demand for some packaging paper and cartonboard grades.  The logistics problems were a giant thorn in the side for market participants in the UK at the end of 2020.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's monthly report on the British paper and board market. The EUWID Price Watch for December together with the complete report is published in EUWID Packaging Markets 1/2021.
