New price talks on recycled containerboard

Suppliers of brown (and in some cases white) recycled containerboard have informed customers in the UK of plans to charge more.

They want to invoice £40-45/t more for deliveries from 1 July onwards.

Experts anticipate that higher prices are in the offing for these grades, too.

However, buyers might manage to postpone hikes a little or depress their magnitude, insiders suspect.
