The French cartonboard market:
GC board manufacturers aim to raise prices

04 Dec 2017 −

Prices are poised to increase in the GC board market in France amidst brisk demand.

First negotiations on the hikes began in November and it is already apparent that the negotiating parties will strike a compromise on the scope of the hike and dates on which it will take effect.

Most respondents in the market think that 1 January will be the earliest date for a hike.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's monthly report on the French paper and board market. The EUWID Price Watch for November together with the complete report will be published in EUWID Pacakging Markets 25/2017.
