The French packaging paper market:
Corrugated case material prices lower again

03 Jun 2019 −

Businesses active in France’s corrugated case material market report another round of varying price cuts for deliveries in May.

Most brown recycled corrugated case material prices dropped since the market climate was hardly fundamentally different.

White-top testliner prices dropped again by a smaller sum, depending on what had happened to prices beforehand, or did not change compared with April.

Abundant supply coincided with limited demand and is keeping prices under pressure.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's monthly report on the French paper and board market. The EUWID Price Watch for May together with the complete report will be published in EUWID Packaging Markets 12/2019.
