The French paper and board market:
Mark-ups announced for corrugated case material

21 Jan 2021 −

Corrugated case material manufacturers want to charge more for white-top testliner and kraftliner in February.

This is not least due to rising prices for ordinary recovered paper grades and pulp in January and amidst strong demand. Some mark-ups have also surfaced for brown recycled corrugated case material on the French market in January.

If manufacturers get their way, GD board will become more expensive, as well, although just a few producers were on board with these price talks towards the middle of January.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's monthly report on the French paper and board market. The EUWID Price Watch for January together with the complete report will be published in EUWID Packaging Markets 2/2021.
