The French paper and board market: Pices for recovered paper rise again in September

In France, as in other European markets, the market balance has shifted for packaging papers.

In light of these developments and especially the ongoing increases in recovered paper prices and other production costs, packaging paper producers are continuing the same pricing policy they have pursued in recent months.

Cartonboard prices rise as production becomes increasingly expensive. Strong demand continues to keep prices high on the recovered paper market in France. The upward trend did not stop in September, and all of the grades monitored by EUWID became more expensive.
