The French recovered paper market:
Ample supply sends prices for ordinary grades lower

09 Apr 2018 −

The French recovered paper market experienced another fall in prices for ordinary grades in March after being in constant decline since November.

Many market players think that rock bottom has now been reached.

EUWID sources quoted markdowns of €10 or sometimes even €15/t for ordinary grades in March. Prices have thus fallen by up to €55/t since November.

Exports of old corrugated containers (OCC) to China picked up the pace a little in March after a very weak February.

This is an excerp from EUWID's monthly report on the French recovered paper market. The EUWID Price Watch Paper and Board France for March together with the complete report has been published in EUWID Packaging Markets 7/2018 .
