The French recovered paper market:
Another round of price cuts for ordinary grades

25 Apr 2019 −

April has turned out to be another month of very limited exports to China and abundant supply of ordinary recovered paper grades on the French market.

The fourth month of the year therefore ushered in renewed price reductions in France, something that not everyone had necessarily anticipated.

Old corrugated containers (OCC, 1.05) were especially hard hit because they were reportedly most readily available.

Ordinary recovered paper grades remained in abundant supply in France.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's monthly report on the French recovered paper market. The EUWID Price Watch Paper and Board France for April together with the complete report will be published in EUWID Packaging Markets 9/2019.
