The German aluminium packaging market:
Suppliers register full order books until the year’s end

27 Nov 2017 −

In mid-November, the producers of aluminium tubes, beverage and aerosol cans interviewed by EUWID unanimously spoke of full order books until the end of the year.

Demand was solid and was expected to continue into the next year too, said respondents. However, many producers were concerned about the situation that is currently playing out on upstream materials.

Rising prices for upstream materials such as aluminium and coatings but also for transport has got producers worried because they cannot always pass these on to customers.
