The German aluminium packaging market:
Suppliers start 2018 with full order books again

Manufacturers of tubes, beverage and aerosol cans made of aluminium started well into the new year.

Respondents from all segments reported well-filled order books and almost consistently lengthened delivery periods when quizzed by EUWID at the end of January.

However, EUWID respondents also said that the rising production costs had not always been passed on in the now largely completed annual talks.
