The German aluminium packaging market:
Trend towards beverage cans continues

The issues of sustainability and replacing plastic packaging with alternatives e.g. made of aluminium were key topics of conversation among the suppliers of tubes, aerosols and aluminium beverage cans at the beginning of November.

While the market for beverage cans was able to benefit from the long summer, this did not apply to manufacturers of cans for spray deodorants.

Suppliers of aluminium tubes could look back on solid developments. However, customers from the sectors of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food were planning increasingly short-term and less predictably.
