The German cartonboard market:
Buyers and sellers enter negotiations about GC II

09 Nov 2018 −

Market players active in the German GC board business appear to be engaged in negotiations after producers announced plans to invoice more in the past few weeks.

Tangible results are not expected before the middle or end of the month. Sources said that the GC board market was benefiting from stable consumption at the moment.

The outcome of negotiations about potential price hikes is completely unclear at present.
