The German packaging paper market:
Higher prices for white testliner on the horizon

It appears that price increases for white testliner are on the horizon.

Although not all price negotiations had been concluded by the middle of the month, in most cases it appears that price hikes were introduced. There was no price movement for brown papers in May. Supply on the kraftliner market remains strained, but converters note that lead times have become a little shorter in the recent past.
