The German packaging paper market:
Momentum fading for virgin fibre-based corrugated case material

19 Nov 2018 −

The German market for corrugated case material is also feeling the effects of demand for corrugated board returning to normal.

"The paper market is faltering at a high level,” one source told EUWID. Others feel that momentum is fading and inventories are growing on the kraftliner market.

Extra imports from overseas are also a factor for brown kraftliner.

Nonetheless, prices for unbleached kraftliner are not expected to be eroded soon.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's monthly report on the German packaging paper market. The complete report will be published in EUWID Packaging Markets 24/2018.
