The German packaging paper market:
Price talks for white-top kraftliner gain momentum

24 Sep 2018 −

Price negotiations for white-top kraftliner only really began to pick up steam in September, producers said.

Prices were still unchanged as of 1 September, which was attributed primarily to the summer holiday season. In addition, another factor is likely to be that several suppliers announced price hikes which would only take effect from mid-September or even 1 October.

According to EUWID respondents, 1 October is now usually the targeted date for the implementation of the pricing plans.
