The German pallet market:
High-volume business continues in 2017

Following a slightly weakening trend in the level of business activity towards the end of 2016, a mostly overall satisfactory situation had developed on Central European markets for pallets by the middle of the first quarter of 2017.

Clients from almost all relevant buyer branches made top-up purchases in January in order to fill gaps which had arisen in stocks.

Accordingly, suppliers of both standard and special pallets are increasingly reporting short-term enquiries and sales, though these frequently involve comparatively small numbers.
