The German pallet market:
Increasingly sluggish demand for new euro pallets

29 Jun 2020 −

Although the reduction that had already been noticeable in business activity on the markets for standard pallets in April 2020 has not become more pronounced in the last few weeks, pallet manufacturers are reporting very mixed development in demand in terms of regions and products.

Where standard pallets are concerned, there are reports of increasingly sluggish demand for new euro pallets thus far in the second quarter. Demand for chemical pallets (CP) has remained well short of last year’s level for a number of weeks.
