The German pallet market:
Price hikes in Central Europe brought to a standstill

12 Oct 2018 −

After the price increases achieved in the previous months, central European pallet producers say it has been practically impossible to raise their prices any further in the last few weeks or in the most recent calls for tender.

In current contracts for major volumes, the prices reached by the middle/end of September 2018 have mostly been rolled over for euro as well as chemical pallets.

From what manufacturers and buyers say, at the outset of the fourth quarter the volumes are moving at the high level seen in the last few months.

This is an excerpt from EUWID's report on the German pallet market, published every six weeks. The complete article together with the Price Watch for October will be published in EUWID Packaging Markets 21/2018.
