The German PET market:
Prices slip in February following January hikes

16 Mar 2020 −

Demand for PET bottles for disinfectants has been booming due to the novel coronavirus.

Other target markets were displaying regular market conditions for this period. Supply and demand for virgin PET grades were in the usual range at the beginning of March ahead of the peak season. This is an excerpt from EUWID's report on the German PET market. The EUWID Price Watch PET for February together with the complete report are published in EUWID Packaging Markets 6/2020.
